The problem
Summit Materials had a very good grasp on its energy spend with an existing energy consultant. They engaged with Vurge to collaborate with their energy consultant in order to identify and implement any additional energy savings in the Midwest.
How we solved it
Working with their internal energy consultant, Vurge began with a no-risk utility bill audit and identified seven regional opportunities. Vurge implemented energy ongoing savings and refunds relating to electricity and natural gas charges.
